BECOME
A VOLUNTEER
Join Rotary’s 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
The causes we target to maximize our impact are called our areas of focus.
We train adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict and help refugees who have fled dangerous areas.
We are resolved to rid the world of polio forever. We also educate and equip communities to stop other diseases and expand access to health care.
We help bring sustainable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to more people every day. We don’t just build wells and walk away.
We expand access to quality medical care, sanitation, education and economic opportunities so mothers and their children can live and grow stronger.
Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy.
We carry out service projects that enhance economic and community development and create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old.
Rotary members are tackling environmental issues the way they always do: coming up with projects, using their connections to change policy and planning for the future.
Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years. Our goal of ridding the world of this disease is closer than ever.
Rotary members and The Rotary Foundation play a unique role in disaster recovery and rebuilding efforts.

Becoming a Rotarian is one of the best decisions any business leader or professional can make. Rotary membership provides many opportunities to make a difference in communities near and far, while establishing life-long friendships with like-minded people from around the world. Your Rotary membership starts with an invitation by a Rotarian and attending a Rotary meeting.
Every year, Rotary Club of Accra undertakes a number of charity projects across many different sectors. You can sign up to donate your time and skills/expertise and participate in any of our projects. Our projects cover the following broad areas: health, education, sanitation, conflict prevention and economic development. Volunteers receive certificates of recognition from our club.
Support one of Rotary Club of Accra’s upcoming projects by making a donation. Donations help us raise the funds required to undertake projects that address the needs of many communities near and far. All donors receive recognition from the club and a copy of reports on projects, upon completion.
